Finish Options

Blade:

  • Blasted and Tumbled
  • Hand-Rubbed Satin
  • Stonewashed, Polished, and other finishes available by request.

Scales:

Most scales are bead blasted and tumbled. This leaves a slightly darker, more matte finish. Scales can also be buffed afterwards to brighten the material while maintaining a uniform finish. All titanium parts can be anodized to your approximate desired color (voltage). Titanium anodizing is extremely difficult to color match due to variables in alloy, material processing and finish, bath chemistry/temperature, and regulation of power during the process- so it is important that you realize color variability can be significant. If you have questions/concerns about color anodizing, please contact us to discuss. Please also know that all color-anodized titanium will scratch and wear with use, and even when new, hue will change (sometimes dramatically) with surface contamination (i.e. skin oil) and ambient lighting.

Pricing is subject to change until we have agreed on a price for a particular item or build. Occasionally, materials (blade steels, exotic scale materials, etc) become unavailable in the supply chain; if your build is scheduled during a window where we are unable to source materials required for your build, you have the option to delay your build or select alternate (available) materials, where the contract price will be adjusted to reflect any change in materials or labor cost. We require 50% of the agreed-upon price upfront, and this deposit is non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel a custom build. If we cancel a build at our option, a refund will be subject to the agreement defined during the initial contract process.  If you cancel after the build has begun, an invoice for a fee for all work and materials completed beyond the value of what was already paid in your deposit will be issued as due-upon-receipt. Requesting a chargeback or opening a PayPal dispute for a valid charge from Edgar Cole LLC (Edgar|Cole) is fraud, and is never an appropriate or legal means to secure a refund. Please read and be sure to fully understand our refund policy prior to initiating a project with us. International shipping costs, import duties/tariffs, customs processes, risk/import laws, and associated fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
